Are you the kind of person who is always listening about places that have turned haunted over time? Well, I am and if you are too then I believe that you will want to spend a night in one such place too to see everything with your own eye.
Well, it’s September already and Halloween is quite around the corner, which makes it the perfect time to spend a night in this spooky place.
Shepton Mallet Prison located in Somerset and is said to be the most haunted prison in the entire UK. The prison that was first opened back in 1625 had been home to thousands of notorious criminals who are still buried in the ground.
We don’t know if this is what makes the place scary or because it is so spooky.
The place was the oldest running prison in the UK before it was closed down in 2013. Before the punishment was outlawed, hundreds of men were executed in the prison that are probably still there.
If you still have a doubt of what goes inside of the prison that makes it haunted, here is Bump in the Night Paranormal UK offering you a night’s stay at the prison.
As per the company “The prison was home to UK’s most notorious criminals Reggie and Ronnie Kray. The places have ghosts from the times linking back to the 17th century.
The gates of the prison open and shuts without any reason, there are shadows moving around in the building, and people have even reported listening voices.
The team members of Bump in the Night said “we were sitting there in the building when my colleague suddenly got up and ran across the hall.
When he came back running I asked him what happened and he said someone was growling in his year but there was no one else in the hall except the two of us.”
Spooky isn’t it? You can spend a night at the prison too by registering for it and make sure to be there in the night because what is the fun of being in a scary place in the day?
