A mother was left with a black eye, a broken nose, and multiple bruises and cuts after she was ambushed by her daughter’s teen bullies while on her way to their school to report bullying.
The violent teens assaulted Maria Jimenez as she was on her way to talk to the school principal at the James Logan High School in California.
Her partner, Eder Rojas, and their 16-year-old daughter were threatened by aggressive teenagers. “They started screaming at us, ‘What you wanna do? Who’s going to fighting first’.”
Maria added: “The girl was very furious. They grabbed me by the hair and dragged me.”
The female bully and her accomplice then started kicking and punching her. They also threw pushed the mother to the ground and stomped on her.
Rojas tried to pull one of the teens off of his wife and their child, who was also attacked by the bullies. Police were called to the school and one of the teens were charged with battery and serious bodily injury.
“I just wanted to talk to the principal. You’d never imagine a kid would hit an adult. I thought we were safe on campus,” Maria expressed.
The mother, who just gave birth to her youngest child four months ago, spent two days in the hospital.
The school said in an email addressed to the parents: “We are investigating and following up on this incident working directly with the Union City Police Department, and taking disciplinary actions. We believe this incident to be between the two Logan students and does not appear to involve any other Logan students.”
Maria pulled her 16-year-old daughter from the school after the horrifying incident.
