A mother who slept with her teenage daughters’ boyfriends after plying them with cigars and alcohol will avoid a jail term.
41-year-old Coral Lytle seduced young boys, aged 15 and 14, in 2017. She drove 15 miles to Visalia from Tulare for the illegal actions.
One of the boys said they had slept with the woman three times, the last time in October 2017. However, they stopped the secret meetings because of their guilt towards the woman’s husband.
Lytle was charged with 21 felony sex counts and faced a suspended prison sentence.
But after checking her probation report, a judge said he didn’t believe the 6-year suspended prison term with 5-years on probation was appropriate.
The mother, who is now out of custody, can now withdraw her plea.
Tulare County Assistant District Attorney David Alavezos said: “Most of the time, when a court makes an indicated sentence, the probation report will follow the indicated sentence.
“There are times the probation report will recommend a sentence that is not what was indicated.”
As the case went on, court documents revealed more about Lytle’s alleged manipulation and sexual relationships with two teenage boys.
“The crimes in this case committed by the defendant involved great cruelty and callousness.
“Especially considering the defendant took advantage of a position of trust to molest two boys who she met when they (were in) teenage dating relationships with the defendant’s daughters.”
The court document stated: “Victim stated this was the last time he had sex with Defendant because he felt bad shaking Defendant’s husband’s hand knowing what he was doing with Defendant.”
Lytle’s husband filed a divorce after the arrest.
