Single Mother-of-six – Who Beat Breast Cancer – Died From Coronavirus


A 42-year-old single mother-of-six has died from coronavirus after beating cancer.

Widow Sundee Rutter, who beat breast cancer, thought she had coronavirus after she started feeling unwell on March 3.

Her best friend, Jessica Harris, told that the doctors told her she didn’t have coronavirus but Sundee still self-isolated herself at her home for four days.’

On March 7, she was admitted to a Washington hospital after she started struggling to breathe.

She died from coronavirus on March 16, 2020, leaving behind six children.

A GoFundMe page was created after Sundee’s death to help the family in the coming months.

According to her GoFundMe page, Sundee beat breast cancer after a long, hard battle and continued to work at Ross Dress for Less throughout her treatment.

The GoFundMe page reads: ‘She is preceded in death by the father of her children. This has not been an easy road for these kids. They have been through a lot in the past several years.’

Her oldest three children are in college while the youngest three are in high school and middle school.

The page described the mother as an ‘absolutely amazing mom’ and urged to help the family so they can arrange her funeral.

Sundee’s daughter Alexis wrote on the page: “For those of you who know or have ever crossed paths with our mother, Sundee, it was likely made clear to you immediately how genuine, selfless, courageous, hard-working, and caring this woman is.”

She said her mother has instilled morals she possessed in all of her children.

In times of need, she was always the one to lend a helping hand to those in need and now, the family is in need of funds to fulfill Sundee’s dream for her children.

The page says Sundee had ‘high hopes that each of us are able to make positive changes and impacts on our friends, family, and community.’
