A video of a mother cuddling her premature daughter six weeks after she was born is touching everyone’s heart.
31-year-old Natasha Bjork Johnson went into labour 4 weeks early at Grimsby Maternity Home.
She gave birth to her daughter Freya in January 2018 who weighed just 1lb 12oz. She was born with chronic lung disease and a hole in her heart.
The newborn was transferred to Jessop Wing in Sheffield for better treatment and stayed there for seven weeks.
She was then sent back to Grimsby Hospital ICU after she was strong enough.
The first-time-mother started crying when she held her daughter for the first time six weeks after she was born.
Freya – who is now 16 months old – was then allowed to go home.
The heartwarming video of Natasha cuddling her newborn while crying was shared online. The video left everyone in tears.
One user wrote: ‘This is amazing! Made me so emotional watching! Such a strong baby girl’ while another said: ‘This brings back so many memories. It is so weird the feeling of fear, panic and love all at once’.
The mother replied to the comment: ‘yeah so true Annie as much as I should of been out of this world happy to finally getting to hold her I was so worried at the same time, I couldn’t even just enjoy her I kept looking at the monitor screen all the time instead of just enjoying if u get me’.

This video can bring tears to anyone’s eyes. This is so emotional. She was holding her baby six weeks after she was born and we can see the joy on her face.
