A young woman was left all alone to care for her newborn baby after her mother ran off with her boyfriend.
The bizarre love triangle takes place in Gloucestershire, England, where 44-year-old Georgina Aldridge fell in love with Ryan Shelton, the boyfriend of her daughter Jess.
According to the reports, the family was living together after Ryan and Jess moved in with the 24-year-old girl’s parents, Georgina and her husband Eric.
Soon after the young couple moved in with the parents, however, Ryan and Georgina started a dangerous affair that would see the entire family break into pieces.
Following months of an affair and just days after Jess and Ryan’s son was born, the boyfriend ran away with Jess’s mother to settle down in their new home, leaving behind the 24-year-old to care for the baby on her own.
Meanwhile, the mother of Jess, who also happens to be a grandmother-of-six, allegedly opened up about her relationship with Ryan in a series of texts she sent to her daughter, The Sun reported.
“If you want the truth Ryan has been trying for three years and I gave in the last six months. He shows me [your texts] every day and tells me everything,” the mother allegedly told her daughter. “We are so close you wouldn’t even know. I know the ins and outs of him daily.”
Defending his new relationship and his decision to leave the mother of his newborn child behind was also Ryan who said he didn’t care what others think about him because he’s “in love with Georgina.”
Following the double betrayal, 24-year-old Jess spoke out to slam her mum’s decision and reveal that her boyfriend had cheated on her before.
“It’s a horrible thing mum has done. Ryan has cheated on me at least three times before. It’s hilarious that they think they’ve got this strong relationship. She’s welcome to him,” she expressed.
Blasting the 44-year-old grandma for tearing the family apart was also Jess’s sister, Emma Aldridge, who revealed that her father was left devastated by Georgina’s betrayal.
“Dad is grieving. He’s not dealing with it at all well. We all feel completely betrayed by mum, especially my dad,” she said.
“She’s always been his rock and he isn’t coping well without her. I’m really worried about him. I’m disgusted by what mum has done. It’s pulling the whole family apart. How could she do this? She’s betrayed us.”
