A mother and sister who look like sisters have gone viral after people failed to tell them apart.
24-year-old Elizaveta Gulyaewa from London is a Moscow-native model who recently surprised her followers on TikTok by sharing photos of her youthful 45-year-old mother.
“People are wondering how do I look young but look at my mum,” the girl said in one of her videos as she shared photos of her mother.
After Elizaveta revealed that her mother is in fact 45 years old, people couldn’t help but wonder whether she was really telling the truth.
While many viewers praised the family’s genetics, others said that the mother and daughter look like sisters. Some also needed help in finding out who is who.
“Is the mum the one on the left or the right? You look the same age,” someone wrote.
“Nooo way, at first I thought she was your little sister. Wow!” another one said.
After countless inquiries, Elizaveta credited healthy food, lots of water, and daily skincare treatment for her mom’s looks.
“Most of the people were very surprised, I haven’t really expected this reaction because I got used to seeing my mum like that and in Russia, we have so many beautiful women – so for us, it’s normal. But I was very pleased to hear so many compliments about my mother,” the 24-year-old said after her video went viral.
“My mum has always taken care of herself. She has beauty rituals every morning and evening, and never misses them. She always uses different skincare products, drinks lots of water and eats healthily.
“I also think part of her look is good genetics and baby face features, which make her look younger than she is.”
As Elizaveta concluded, her mom is also her role model and she couldn’t be happier when the two get mistaken for sisters!
