A mother in a hallucinogenic state was standing in a narrow and slippery second floor railing with her two infants.
According to the police, it was a strenuous procedure in rescuing the family.
On May 19 (local time), the Del Ray Beach Police Department in the United States received a report stating that an adult woman and two children were standing on the second-story railing in the area.
Police found a 23-year-old woman who “acted strangely” when they arrived at the scene.
Even when the police officers asked her to go down, the woman refused and did not listen at all.
Next to the woman was her one-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl.
A neighbor prepared to catch the children under the railing in case the mother dropped the children.
He shouted to the child’s mother to let the children come down from the narrow railing.
Officer Rob Adeda, who was on the scene, also said, “Please let the children into the house. Please.”
Police entered the railing through the bedroom door on the second floor.
One of the officers calmed the mother who was on edge due to hallucinating, and the other officer took the children to safety.
The woman was sent to a mental health facility, and the police said that after this incident the woman could be facing criminal charges.
The Florida Department of Child and Family has been investigating the case and is protecting the children.
