The mother who was discovered “burned to death” in the woods “loved her family” according to her heartbroken daughter.
48-year-old Julie Ainsley from the UK was found dead next to a can of petrol on Saturday evening after the police received reports of a burning person in Moston, Manchester.
While the investigation remains underway and the cause of death is yet to be confirmed, the authorities have revealed that the current information suggests no foul play was involved.
“Police were called around 6.15pm this evening (Saturday 14 November 2020) by the fire service to a report of a fire in a woodland near Williams Road, Moston,” a police spokesperson said.
“Emergency services attended and sadly found the body of a woman. A scene is in place and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.”
Following the tragic incident, the family of the 48-year-old woman has spoken out and revealed that Julie was struggling with mental health.
“She was obviously battling with her issues, but most of the time she made out she was fine. She had five grandchildren and one on the way and she loved her family,” daughter Jade Riley expressed.
As her ex-partner, Steven Riley, added, Julie was a great mother and grandmother.
“She was great, she was a mum and a grandma. She lived in Moston all of her life. We still got on really well and I loved her, she was my kid’s mam,” he said.
“She struggled with her mental health and it had got worse, she just struggled with everyday life.”
The case remains under investigation. Sending prayers and words of support to Julie’s family during these tough times.
