Keira Meldrum from New York overcame the complications and advice to abort fourteen times and gave birth to a healthy child.
Keira had some complications during her pregnancy and she was advised by her doctor to abort the child nearly fourteen times.
Being a determined mother, Keira cleared all the apprehensions and obstacles when she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Keira had faith she would save her child and she can’t just kill her for the sake of her survival. The 20-year-old mother was prescribed to abort every week of her pregnancy.
Her 21-week scanning reports showcased that her child had Grade 3 severe ascites to the bowel. The build-up fluid caused some complications to Keira’s pregnancy, who has suffered four miscarriages earlier.
When Keira went into the labour at 34th week, she was completely afraid of losing her daughter as little Lillee-Rose was rushed to the emergency section right after the birth.
After eight long weeks in hospital and multiple operations, Keira took her baby girl to home. Those weeks were the real struggle for the family. Each moment they were praying for their daughter’s recovery.
Keira was completely shattered as the fear of losing her daughter always kept her haunting. Doctors and other nursing staff of the hospitals always tried to give Keira hope.
They constantly said that Lillee Rose will be back to life and soon she will be growing up with Keira as a beautiful and healthy girl.
Six months down the line, Lillee Rose is happy and healthy. Though she has a delicate bowel which is an area of concern, doctors have confirmed it won’t generate any problem in future.
