A mother-of-two was left in stitches after her young children decorated their snowman using their grandmother’s old teeth.
34-year-old Stephanie Murphy was stunned after her daughter Faye, 4, and son Dougie, 3, decided to add the gnashers to their snowman.
Stephanie then shared hilarious photos of their children’s frosted statue on social media, where it gained hundreds of comments and likes.
“I look after my grandmother who lives around the corner and as we were walking to her house, my daughter Faye said we should build a snowman in her front garden to make her smile,” Stephanie said.
“So as we got there, I went in to give my grandmother a shower and my two kids and husband got to work making the snowman.
“Meanwhile in the house, I was looking for buttons for the snowman’s eyes when I found a wash bag with all my grandmother’s old teeth from throughout the years.”
Stephanie then took the old teeth out and showed it to her children, who were ‘fascinated’ by the pearly whites.
But her children immediately came up with a plan and the result was a creepy-looking snowman.
“At first the kids were a little scared of their new toothy snowman but quickly fell in love with it,” she admitted.
“My grandma also found it hilarious!”
Stephanie added: “The kids love building snowmen and having snowball fights. We are a very active and outdoorsy family, we have a caravan and go on lots of trips away.”
One person commented: “Those kids are potentially geniuses. I actually cried at this.”
Another wrote: “Best snowman ever!”
