A Mother Leopard Was Caught On Camera While Crossing Road With Her Cubs


A visitor in African safari park was lucky enough to capture this rare moment where mother leopard was helping her cubs to cross the road.

Thinus Delport (64) was the one who captured this adorable footage in the Kruger National Park situated in South Africa. He took his daughters to sing in the parks so that animals could come out.

Bizarre right? But their plan seems to have worked considering that on cue the leopard and her cubs emerged from the sides.

In the recorded video, we first spotted mother leopard sitting patiently in the bushes along the roadside. Once she stepped forward, her two cubs followed the suite Fortunately, there were a couple of people to capture this delightful moment.

She emerged first and looked around to spot any sign of danger before her babies creeped out of the bushes behind her.

The cubs had a few false starts, and they appeared to run back to the bushes being scared. However, they eventually coaxed out and followed their mother to the middle of the road.

In the second attempt, the trio finally managed to cross the road in front of many other cars that waited for them to cross peacefully. Nobody disturbed the animals, and they delightfully watched them cross the road.

Eventually, the mother leopard grabbed one of the cubs, and soon the family disappeared into the thick bushes on the other side of the road.

Kruger National Park is one of the popular destinations to explore wildlife, but even there a view like this was rare.

Deloprt told that he, along with his daughter, left the camp in search of leopards. The girls were pretty sure that there is no leopard in this national park as they have never seen one.

While driving, the trio jokingly started singing to attract leopard, surprisingly they did. He further explained that it was his daughter’s first visit to the park, and she was the one to take out the video camera and record this rare moment.
