A ‘sickening’ mother went viral after live-streaming the moment she threatened to take the life of her 3-month-old baby.
The disturbing incident reportedly took place in Memphis where a mother appeared to threaten her young child while on Instagram Live, MTO News reported.
In the video, the mother was seen holding her baby in one hand while wielding a large butcher’s knife in the other. The woman then proceeds to point the blade at her child, prompting the father of the baby to shout: “What the fu** is you doin.”
After the shocking video went viral and racked up over 25 million views, calls for the mother to be arrested have been growing. Meanwhile, viewers urged the authorities to act immediately to remove the child from the woman’s custody.
As MTO News revealed, however, reports that they obtained suggest that the mother in question was not arrested and is not facing any charges. The child in the video is presumably still in her custody.
According to the reports, the baby seen in the viral Instagram Live video was not harmed.
