A mother-of-two has revealed she is trolled and slammed for having tattoos, piercings and for staying fit.
Blogger Sia Cooper started sharing her fitness journey when she was pregnant with her first child.
Soon, she was trolled for her lifestyle choices and people even branded her a bad mother.
Sia said she is called a bad mother simply for working out during pregnancy, having tattoos, piercings, and not covering up around her kids.
To shut her troll, Sia shared a post on her Instagram page and wrote: “If I had a nickel for every time I’ve been called a ‘bad mom’, I would be soooo rich!”
“It seems almost impossible to be a textbook or politically correct good mom these days because everywhere you turn another mom is judging your parenting choices. Am I right?”
She said true “bad moms” are the ones who constantly tear other moms down by judging them.
She called those mothers, who judge other mothers for their life choices, insecure and said they have strong feelings of inadequacy.
She said there’s not any one right way to be a good mother and we are no one to judge how a mother is raising her children.
Sia said being a mother is already a tough job and we should not make it more difficult by judging mothers.
Sia, who has more than 1 million Instagram followers (@diaryofafitmommyofficial), concluded her post: “Being a mom is hard enough and if all the following make me a ‘bad mom’ then I’ll gladly wear it proudly! Here’s to all the bad moms out there.”
Sia’s message for all the mothers got an overwhelming response and Internet users totally agreed with the mother.
They called her a ‘Hero’ and told her she is an amazing woman and a mother.
