A mother has gone viral after sharing her brilliant hack to keep her husband awake while they were in a delivery room.

As Samantha Mravik-Miller proudly revealed, she made sure to bring her nerf gun with her to the hospital to be able to wake her husband up from the comfort of her bed.

“Mom hack level 1,0000. Worried about the nights in the hospital with your new born & dad sleeping? Well… then don’t forget one of these in your hospital bag,” the mother wrote in her Facebook post that racked up thousands of likes and comments.

As Samantha later revealed, she came upon the unique idea on how to keep her husband awake after he slept through parts of the process when she gave birth to their son.

“I packed it because when my five-year-old was born, my husband slept through him crying in the hospital,” she said in an interview with Romper.

According to the mum, she previously used an empty water bottle but now upgraded it to a nerf gun in order to have a better aim.

“I figured this way I would have better aim,” she added.
