Brogan Tant from Limavady in Northern Ireland was informing his mother about his condition but had an unfortunate spelling mistake.
Here’s the truth: he doesn’t have a sexually transmitted infection.
After visiting a hospital, he discovered what his mysterious condition was – he had a sty. It is a red, painful lump that forms near the edge of the eyelid and may look like a pimple or boil. It is caused by an infection of oil glands in the eyelid.
When he texted his mother to let her know about his sty, he accidentally spelled it ‘sti.’
“Mum, I’ve got a sti,” he wrote.
But his mother had already responded before he had noticed the error, and her reply was hilarious.
She is evidently concerned for her teen’s health but quickly have her support. She typed: “Is it any wonder the way you bang the birds, the doctor can treat most things son. Make sure you get it treated and take the whole course of meds you’re given!”
The mother ended her message with a piece of advice: “Now let it be a lesson and use condoms son, a still love you xxx”
After the son realized his mistake he immediately corrected it and sent a photo of the lump. His amazing mom gave more great advice.
“Get a gold ring and rub it on the sty,” with four laughing emojis.
Brogan shared their convo on Twitter where he gained over 13K likes. One person commented: “The way u bang the birds wit u like,” and Brogan replied: “My mum know, do a look like a shagger? Yes a am.”
