Mother’s Selfless Act Miraculously Saved 7-Month-Old Baby During Ambush


A 7-month-old baby was found unscathed in a bullet-ridden vehicle after her loving mother protected her from gunfire that took the lives of nine members of a Mormon family.

29-year-old Christina Langford Johnson was among those who died when cartel gunmen attacked them in Sonora, Mexico.

Christina has been credited with saving the life of her young daughter after she stashed her car seat on the floor of the car as the attack occurred.

According to reports, she got out of the car and waved her arms to show the attackers that she was not a threat. She also walked away from the Suburban to distract the gunmen as her bullet-ridden body was discovered 15 yards away from their car.

Baby Faith was found unscathed and strapped in the car seat over 8 hours later when authorities and family arrived at the scene. She has been reunited with her dad, Tyler Johnson, and was photographed smiling as he hugged her.

Christina and two other women were driving in separate cars with their kids from La Mora religious community when the shooting happened.

Dawna Langford and her two sons 3-year-old Rogan and 11-year-old Trevor were gunned down, and Rhonita Miller and her four children, 12-year-old Howard, 10-year-old Krystal, and 6-month-old twins Tiana and Titues, were all killed.

Eight children and some babies survived the ambush after they hid in the brush for hours until authorities came.

Heroic details emerged of the attack including how Christina placed her baby out of harms away.

Dawna’s 13-year-old son, David, also saved lives after he covered his other siblings with branches and hid them before walking miles to get help.

What the kids went through is indescribable.

“After witnessing his mother and brothers being shot dead, Devin hid his six other siblings in the bushes and covered them with branches to keep them safe while he went for help,” said Kendra Miller, a relative.

“When he took too long to return, his 9-year-old sister left the remaining five to try again.”

That sister, McKenzie Rayne Langford, also walked for hours in the dark before she was found and other kids were rescued.
