Jill, from Leicester, worked in the police force for 14 years but after giving birth to her triplets, she retired from the job.
She says it was easy when the triplets were newborn but now they’re two-years-olds and are constantly on the move.
But, she is able to chase them, thanks to her chasing skills from her time as a detective sergeant and as a hunter in the hit Channel 4 series, Hunted.
She says about the show: “I was recruited for Hunted after one of the producers spotted my LinkedIn profile. It spiralled from there and although it involves a few weeks away from home each year, I love being part of the show.”
“It’s like an adult version of hide and seek, it’s so much fun.”
Jill is ready for the second series of Hunted and will have to stay away from her family for seven weeks.
She says she only has one day off each week during filming but she really enjoys it because she gets to be a detective again and use her key skills from during her police career.
Talking about her triplets, she says when the triplets were born it took her three hours to feed them and change their nappies 24 hours per day. But they are two-year-olds now and it is more challenging to deal with them.
She said: “They’re much harder work now they’re toddlers as not only are they emotional but they are constantly causing chaos.
People often say that I’m a calm mum but after being in the police for so many years it does take a lot to stress me out.
”“I’m super organised when it comes to the triplets and I always ensure we are sticking to our routine.”
“And no matter how old they get, they’ll never win in a game of hide and seek with me or Paul.”
