A stunned woman revealed how a complete stranger accused her of being spiteful after she refused to play with her son.
As the anonymous lady explained in her viral post, she was seated next to a mother with a young son on her flight to London.
Shortly after the plane was boarded, the boy’s mom asked the woman to trade seats with her son so that the child could sit next to the window.
While the woman agreed, this wasn’t the end of trouble. Soon after the plane took off, the boy and his mother traded seats so that the kid was seated between his mom and the woman in question.
At this point, the woman started watching the movie Venom on her phone only for the mother of the boy to ask her to play something else or turn the phone off because the movie isn’t appropriate for children and her son kept on staring at the screen.
“Now I’m not gonna lie, I’m very confrontational – confrontation makes me giddy, but I was dead a** shocked,” the woman admitted in her post.
“‘Uh, no. I’m still gonna watch the movie I picked for my flight,’ I responded. Now the kid pipes up, ‘Have you got any games I could play?’ ‘No, because I’m watching a movie.’ ‘Come on, he’s bored’ [the mum] said.”
As the woman added, she then told the mother that it wasn’t her problem that her child is bored and that she wasn’t responsible for entertaining him.
“Another two minutes passed and once again the mother and child swapped places – yes – the mother was now sat next to me. Yay!” the passenger added.
Once again, however, this wasn’t the end of the awkward exchange. Shortly before the plane landed, the offended mother of the boy went to call the woman a “spiteful b****” for not allowing him to play games on her phone.
Responding to the sudden and unexpected comment, the woman called the mom an “ungrateful c***” and suggested she should be grateful to her for letting her son sit next to the window.
After the plane landed, the woman decided to get revenge on the entitled mom and her son by remaining seated in her aisle seat until everyone else disembarked.
