An upset mother has taken to social media to accuse a supermarket giant of dumping the goodies she ordered all over her oil-stained floor in botched delivery.
According to the Sydney-based mum, she ordered over $300 worth of items, including frozen products and fresh produce, from Woolworths.
As the mother expressed, however, the company failed to deliver the goods in a professional manner.
Sharing the picture of the pile of groceries lying on her garage floor, the mother wrote: “This is how I found my delivery this morning.”
As she went on to explain, Woolworths contacted her at 7 in the morning and told her the goods would be delivered between 8:35 and 9:35.
After dropping her kids off at school, however, the mum allegedly received a phone call alerting her that the items have already arrived.
“I receive a call at 7.45 AM (an hour earlier than they told me) saying they are here with the shopping asking where to leave my order,” she added. “There is no safe place!! The only place is my car spot.”
Tagging the supermarket giant in her post, the mother went on to claim: “No bags, fruit, veg all on the floor of the carpark. This is over $300 worth of groceries. Appalling.”
After the incident went viral, the Woolworths team spoke out to Daily Mail Australia and confirmed that they have already accommodated the mother’s concerns and issued a full refund.
“We’re disappointed to see this because we take great pride in our delivery service,” the representative allegedly said.
“We’ve spoken with the customer to apologize and arranged a full refund on the order in recognition of the poor experience.”
