A frustrated mother who stockpiled toilet rolls during coronavirus panic-buying discovered her kids had thrown everything in the bath!
With almost everyone trying to strip supermarket shelves bare, one mother decided to purchase 18 rolls of toilet paper.
She left the toilet rolls in the bathroom unattended because – what could possibly happen, right? They are already in the bathroom. Those paper rolls should be safe.
But the mother had to learn her lesson the hard way when she found her kids giving the toilet rolls a bath along with many other toys!
The frustrating but hilarious incident was posted on Twitter by Ed Cumming from Hampshire. He tweeted: “My friend bought 18 loo rolls and her kids put them all in the bath.”
His post quickly went viral, receiving hundreds of comments and thousands of likes.
One person commented: “Hahahahahah….. hilarious yet facepalm inducing. Some poor elderly or infirmed person may have needed those. Wastage.”
Another wrote: “What a good laugh! Still, can always do what our grandparents & further back did, cut up newspaper into squares hung from a piece of string.”
A third added: “The funniest story I’ve seen on here for days. Made me smile.”
But some people were not impressed with the stockpiling. One Twitter user commented: “Karma. Just hope the weak and vulnerable haven’t missed out owing to her selfishness.
In another incident, a young mother was left in tears after not finding baby milk for her child, who was only three days old.
One shopper said: “I spoke to a young guy who told me that a woman with a three day old baby was in tears because she couldn’t find powdered milk, it’s just outrageous.”
