How would you feel if people troll you online for your choice of food? Well, it is obvious trolling is not a good way to show disappointment but a mother was trolled for sharing her daughter’s birthday party feast and here is why.
A mother was trolled online after sharing a photo of her daughter’s birthday party menu as it was all fast food.
The mother took Facebook to share the picture showing off the spread she’d whipped up for her daughter’s seventh birthday.
The photo shows a mountain of greasy food, including KFC buckets, McDonald’s cheeseburgers, pizza drenched in sauce and fizzy drinks.
Revealing exactly how much she’d bought, the mom, from Ratana on New Zealand’s North Island, captioned the image: “My girl’s 7th birthday party.
“Kentucky chicken, cheeseburgers, Thai food, pizza.
“This is not a healthy diet” she wrote in Maori.
In total she bought 20 cheeseburgers, 20 cans of soft drinks, 10 pizzas, six buckets of KFC chicken and coleslaw, all washed down with five tubs of gravy.
The photo was shared to Facebook group Heil’s Kitchen, which inspires people to “stay away from the takeaways and cook fresh at home.”
People started criticizing the mother online for her “diabetes birthday” party.
One person commented: “Happy birthday, we got you a heart attack.”
Somebody else wrote: “That’s something I would expect for a boys 16th not a girls 7th birthday party.”
A third wrote: “New Zealand has a massive obesity problem and this is not helping.
“No seven year old needs food like this.”
Others said people should “chill out” and not be so quick to judge.
Someone commented: “Some of you need to chill. I mean, it’s one day? Not every single day of their entire lives.”
And clearly inspired, this person said: “Might have to do this for my birthday. All that food looks good.”
