A young woman who tried to kill his son by drowning him in the bathtub now claims it’s not true, and everything that happened was just a few minutes of parental failure.
A 23-year-old resident of Australia tried to drown her son in a bathtub when she was giving him a bath with his other sibling. She simply held the little boy’s head and placed it underwater for five seconds, in which the little boy was unable to breathe.
This dreadful incident occurred in Victoria, Australia, in July a year ago. The woman was dealing with some mental health issues at that moment and probably attempted it on purpose. After the incident, the boy survived and didn’t have any injuries.
The woman later searched about the child protection that alerted the authorities as she contacted them after doing so. Within a few moments, the police reached there and found her guilty of this horrible murder attempt.
The lawyers now use this point in the favor of this woman and are trying to free her from prison. According to them, she is not a bad mother. No woman can do this with her children as parents are supposed to be the most loving and caring characters in the life of a child.
From the day of the incident till today, this woman was kept behind bars, and her children are no more with her now. Her lawyers claim that this punishment is enough for a loving mother, and she must be free now as the children need her. Now, the court has given another date to this woman for the next hearing of her case.
