We bet you never saw an invention of a motor-powered pub bench.
The creation is quite strange but somebody’s brain thought out of the box and they created it.
A 30-year-old mechanic Clayton Humphrys from Somerset and his friend always go to Dorset Steam Fair and they were excited to see how people their modify things.
The duo thought to have something that can move so they purchased a ride-on lawnmower, took the bench and converted it into something very creative.
Speaking to LADbible, Clayton said: “We always go to Dorset Steam Fair, my old man’s got a steam engine and there’s always weird and wonderful things driving around there.”
“People modify mobility scooters, lawnmowers, anything that moves.”
“This year we thought we needed something that moves, so I bought a ride-on lawnmower, took the bench, and converted it and that’s what we’ve got.”
“No real reason, it’s just I’m a mechanic and an engineer, and I’ve seen a few of them.”
“What made me do it was that I saw two people who got caught and lost their driving licence driving one of them along the road in America.”
“That was based on a go-kart so it was quite low down and less usable than what I’d want.”
He says that it is not allowed on roads and you need a right place to use it.
Clayton added: “It’s a bit faster than walking speed. It is literally a ride-on lawnmower, so probably about 10 miles per hour at the most.”
“It’s just a bit of a laugh, really.”
“Well, I’ll probably hang onto it and use it a bit more, it’s just you’ve got to find the right places to use it because it’s not allowed on the road,”
“It’s just big events like that one that will accept it.”
