A mother shared her nightmarish experience after her own hair almost strangled her baby while she was sleeping.
Experts claim that without a doubt, parenting is definitely one of the hardest jobs in the world. And that notion stands true, especially for those people with young babies. After all, danger awaits from all angles of the spectrum and you certainly are never aware of how and where it may strike.
35-year-old Emma Lewis Chipili is making so many heads turn after she shared her shocking personal experience that almost took away her baby’s life. Emma who hails from the United Kingdom boldly spoke about how parents may pose as the biggest threats to their own kids without realizing it.
Emma shared her horror story via her Facebook account and that’s where she mentioned how she nearly strangled her child using her hair, without even knowing of the act.
As a mother of six, Emma says that this has never ever happened with her, neither did it ever cross her mind that something like this could even occur. After putting her one-year-old son named Lincoln to bed, Emma says it was now time for her to sleep.
“While I was sleeping, I felt as if Lincoln twitched,” she mentioned. Therefore, when the mum of six opened up her eyes, she glared in absolute horror as her tresses were wrapped around Lincoln’s neck.
Emma entered into a state of shock, nervousness, and panic. How did she and her son end up in this state was something that kept crossing her mind. The mum made several attempts to put her fingers under her tresses so that it would weaken the hold. But to her utter disappointment, it was in vain.
As the hair got tighter and higher, he slowly began to choke. Emma recalls her panic levels reaching sky high and that’s when she screamed out loud. On that note, her husband rushed into the room and assisted in breaking Lincoln free.
It was just a matter of seconds before she lost her child, but thankfully, it all ended with a close call. Now, Emma is sharing her tragic incident with the hope to raise awareness for other parents.
