A mother is revealing her heartbreaking dilemma about how one of her daughters is more attractive than the other.
Without a doubt, parenting is termed to be one of the biggest obstacles that life throws at you and you never begin to realize the seriousness of the situation until you’re actually in it.
In a world like that of today, people are more concerned about looks than anything else. Moreover, it wouldn’t be wrong to term it like an obsession that some have more than anything else.
For this reason, a mother penned down her emotional thoughts about how she has two beautiful daughters whom she adores so much. But she fears that since one of them is more attractive than the other, it might have a negative impact.
“What do you do when your younger child is more attractive than the older one?”- she questioned on an online forum recently.
You could clearly tell that the mother was so distraught because her younger daughter appears to be getting more compliments on her looks than the older one. “Family and friends never fail to tell her that she’s so beautiful,” the mother adds. But that’s not the case with the older one.
While her oldest is only two and youngest is 20 months old, the mother is fearing for the impact it might have as she grows up and now she’s asking others for advice on what to do.
“I feel that my two daughters are fabulous, just the way they are. But it does strike me that outsiders seem to be more concerned regarding the younger one’s looks,” she went on to explain.
On that note, the mother of two received plenty of feedback from other parents who came across her story.
They tried to explain to the mother how she needs to speak up when they compliment only one of them, adding a ‘thank you’ with ‘i’m blessed with two beautiful daughters.
’ This way, they’ll be mindful of what they’re saying next time.Others advised the mum not to worry about the world and focus on attributes instead of looks. Teaching your children their own worth and how other people’s opinions shouldn’t affect them is the right way to move forward.
