My Chemical Romance recently announced that they are reuniting for their first concert after 7-year- hiatus!

Tickets are available for the Hot Topic-wearing, emo-titans’ Return show happening at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on December 20 this year.

My Chemical Romance’s reunion was first hinted at few months ago when The Get Up Kids mysteriously posted on Twitter that keyboardist James Dewees was no longer a member.

After breaking up in 2013, Gerard Way said members remained amicable and said that fans should not ‘count a reunion out.’

The 42-year-old founding member said to Billboard in 2017: “But at the same time everybody’s doing stuff in their lives now that they’re really enjoying.

“In some ways I don’t really miss it; It had gotten so big it was very unwieldy. It took a toll on my mental life and personal life.

“The thing I’m happiest about right now is everybody’s relationships with each other are really strong. That’s more important than anything else to me.”

Way and guitarist Ray Toro recorded covers of The Turtles’ Happy Together and Simon and Garfunkel’s Hazy Shade of Winter for Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy.

MCR’s reunion show was announced on the same day as guitarist Frank lero’s 38th birthday.

One internet user commented: “I saw them at Wembley Arena in 2007 before they were really famous. They blew my mind they were that good. I then saw them again in 2010 at Birmingham, and 2011 at the Leeds festival. They are amazing live.”
