Popstar Britney Spears thinks her parents should spend the rest of their lives in jail, after the way they treated her for nearly a decade.
“My parents need to go to jail,” the celeb mentioned while bashing her parents. The bold announcement was made through the superstar’s Instagram account where she also spoke about how grateful she feels about being independent, now that her conservatorship is over.
“I finally feel free and like a woman. I’m so grateful to be independent,” she went on to add on social media.
In June of this year, the star made headlines at the Los Angeles County court when she informed the judge how her father, Jamie Spears as well as her management should be in jail for the way they went about treating her.
Now, the singer is calling upon her own mother to join the rest for their demoralizing and degrading treatment of her.
On Tuesday, the pop star gave a little teaser of a sit-down tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, similar to celebs like Adele and Meghan Markle.
Britney’s mom and dad have been accused of controlling her whole life, including all of her finances and how many children she was allowed to have and with whom. This lasted for nearly a decade, causing great emotional and physical stress on the celeb who finally mustered the strength and courage to reveal their truth in front of the world.
The star was ever so grateful for her fans and followers who supported her through this difficult time, adding how each and every one of them means so much to her. This includes the ever-so-popular ‘Free Britney’ campaign that gained immense publicity around the globe.
