An unknown kerb code has left many people in a dilemma as to what it would suggest or mean.
Many have come on to a conclusion that is a mark that has been left by burglars for marking their targets.
However, Sarah Silverman raised some other concern with these signs. She claimed that the sign looks like a molded version of a “Swastik.”
According to Sarah, all the signs that have been drawn on the pavements might represent Swastika and although she is herself confused and that is why she is asking her Twitter followers.
The marks must also have been made by the local workers who are assigned with the task of fitting the pipes in certain areas. All of these workers by painting these signs have made an intentional for effectively completing their task.
Such markings are made to locate the pipes and cables that have been placed beneath the ground. Such drawings also help in understanding the depth, and direction of the pipeline.
In 2016, it was rumoured that burglars created such signs and markings as codes for houses they thought can be burgled. There are also findings available that suggest what types of signs are used for understanding the household situation.
The symbol of overlapping rectangles would mean that the specific house is afraid and vulnerable.
A circle sign with five dots inside it would mean that the house owner is extremely wealthy. But all of these signs were declared as rumours by the Police Department, and they also educated on what these signs actually represent.
The Police of South Worcestershire made it clear that there is no evidence present for these symbols to be linked with any of the burglary activities, but rather they are simple, explainable signs for normal activities.
More than anything these unique markers are just a simple aid for all the road workers. Another theory that is in circulation is of the color code. The color-based markings on the pavement can also deliver different messages but that too for the utility of road workers.
