This adorable bird box, which has been crafted to look like a miniature human living room, is the brainchild of Kate MacRae, who is a wildlife expert and consultant.

She is the one who built and designed the nesting side employing dollhouse furniture.
Moreover, she even fitted a camera inside her novel bird box to livestream all the happening from her English garden in Staffordshire to the internet.
MacRae said that the box has been giving her amazing footage and she cannot put into words how excited she was then the first blue tit penetrated the box and had a look around.
It left MacRae wondering what was going through the bird’s mind as she looked at the potted plant and cat ornament on the shelf and if she approved of the tiny avian-themed wallpaper.
MacRae has been shooting the wildlife in her English garden for the last ten years with an array of cameras that were connected to a central computer to let her watch the recordings.
Talking about the birds, she said that they are a pair and it is difficult to distinguish the female from males until they lay eggs, as it would be the female that sits on them.
She got the idea as the pair would be living in the box for five to six weeks and so, she wanted to make a space that resembles a living room.
However, she could not add more elements due to a shortage of space in the nesting space.
She revealed that she spend the winter planning the bird box and trying various set-ups. The box was all created using 1/12th dollhouse furniture, wood, cardboard, and paper to make the house as safe as possible.
She did this to engage people with wildlife and as a part of her project with MacRae’s sponsors CJ Wildlife.
