Some of the Samsung smart TVs won’t be able to have access to Netflix from the next month because of the Technical limitations in older models.
The company announced that Netflix wouldn’t stream on the older models of Samsung smart TVs, and people who want access to the streaming website will have to purchase the compatible models.
Netflix will be going off from some devices at the beginning of next month, and people will have to buy the compatible models to have access to Netflix.
There were no specifications about the models which will no longer support Netflix, but it seems like Samsung did not respond to the decision taken by Netflix till now.
Though Netflix did share a list of devices that are compatible with having access to the app. there were many models and devices which are compatible with having access to Netflix, but the models for Samsung smart TVs are not mentioned yet.
Samsung said that as long as you have a supporting device attached to the TV like gaming console, set-top box, or media player, then you will be able to watch Netflix on your TV.
Netflix has shared how this change will impact a small number of people and confirmed the news.
The company has also contacted and informed the people who will be affected by this change and given them solutions to use alternative devices that will support Netflix.
The company is trying to limit the password sharing system that everyone is using for the streaming website.
