Sometimes pregnancy lets you take some decision that can be harsh on your life.
That’s exactly what happened with this mother who was branded heartless for asking her husband to save her instead of the child.
Childbirth is considered as a divine process, but for some, it can be a horrifying deal. There are plenty of complications that can pop up during pregnancy which can at times result in death.
In the majority of cases, the doctor gives two options, either to save the child or the mother. Around 295,000 women died during the pregnancy due to complications. The number keeps on staggering.
Recently a woman was shammed down by her family and friends for asking her husband to choose her over the unborn baby.
When she was facing complications in her pregnancy, doctors asked her husband to make a choice between her and the baby. The mother insisted her husband choose her over the baby.
She explained that the couple already has a two years old daughter and if something happens to her it will eventually affect the upbringing of her daughter. That’s the only reason why he asked the husband to choose her over the unborn baby.
The mother suffered complications in her first pregnancy as well when she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 32 weeks. She said that I didn’t have any issue, I just want my baby to be safe.
Before going into the delivery she asked her husband that if the need persisted in choosing between the baby and her, so he must choose her.
Initially, her husband went quiet but eventually agreed to her request. But, fortunately, everything went well and both mother and child are safe and healthy. The father of the newborn is happy that he didn’t have to make any heartbreaking choice.
