The new list of emojis for the year 2022 has been unveiled and it’s coming to add plenty of twists to smartphone users’ lives.
Research shows that most people feel comfortable expressing their emotions with emojis. Therefore, you can only imagine what a new list for the upcoming year would look like. Think along the lines of a pregnant man, a non-binary individual, biting lips, and some multi-racial handshakes too.
According to local media outlets, the central bank has made it a point to approve the new and improved innovative emoji collection that entails several creative emoji designs.
Moreover, the collection has already started turning so many people’s heads, especially with examples honoring the transgender community like the ‘pregnant man’ emoji.
In addition to all of this, there are also quite a few that feature variations of the face emoji that we’re all accustomed to using.
For instance, there’s going to be a face that’s holding back tears too.
While the emojis will be approved by September as a final draft, they won’t be able for smartphone devices until next year, confirmed authorities.Referred to as the Emoji 14.0 by the Central Bank that approves all emojis, the organization has gone about revealing how the draft has plenty of options or designs for users to look forward to.
“We want to relate to all sorts of communities, especially the transgender one, and that’s why we’re showing the world that pregnancy is possible for some trans men as well as non-binary people,” it went on to explain.
Users will also find a gender-neutral person donning a crown. Surprisingly, he will be available in a number of different skin tones too, as is the range of 15 different handshake combinations.
Other options include the new variants of the classic circular yellow fact. This includes the melting fact, dotted line face, holding back tears face, and saluting face.
