Simone Biles is paying tribute to her parents, just one day after her birth mother wished to get into contact with her.

The star gymnast from Team USA is reportedly ignoring her birth mom’s plea to forgive her due to her troubled past which she says was due to alcohol and drug abuse.

Drug addiction resulted in Shanon Biles putting her kids up for adoption after they were transferred to a foster care home as she could no longer take care of them safely.

Now, years later, she wants them to know that she is sorry and wishes to be a part of their lives again.

Biles seemingly ignored all possible opportunities for a reconciliation. Instead, she gushed over the designer gifts that her parents purchased for her, as a reward for making the family proud with her massive win at this year’s Paris Olympics.

The star athlete was called out by fans for displaying her love for fame and wealth while her birth mother was penniless and requesting a meeting.

‘Look world, this is what my birth grandparents bought for me. They adopted me at six and I love how much they care for me’- she continued.
