Running a restaurant is not an easy business, and the owner does have to keep coming up with new varieties and ideas to attract customer’s attention.
The 21st-century customers have plenty of options available to them, and it is now the job of the goods or the service provider to reinvent themselves as per the needs of the customer.
A New Jersey-based restaurant Elsie’s has come up with a special sandwich that doesn’t include any sort of bread. They allow customers to choose their choice of fillings, but there is no bread available. Instead of bread, there are pickles.
The fillings that are provided include sauces, deli meats, and cheese slices. And if you don’t wish to have pickle as the outside layer, then you can go for cucumber.
The price range of such subs start from $8.50, and in this price, you can get a classic salami pickle sub. You can add toppings further by paying 25 cents extra for each of the topping that you would like to add on.
The owner of the restaurant, Katherine Cohen told the reporter that Elsie’s is a restaurant that offers sandwiches without bread. She added that they have a family designed pickle recipe which they use as their USP for selling their unique sandwiches.
The breadless sandwich is also being looked upon as a healthy way to eliminate carbs from the daily diet. If people stop consuming heavy subs, then they will have a reduction in issues such as bloating and inflammation.
Elsie’s pickle sandwich is now quite famous, and many have found such a sandwich to be good in taste and healthy as well. One of the customers even took the time to appreciate the breadless sandwich by posting a comment on the Facebook page of Elsie.
