One mother says she receives plenty of hate and criticism across the board because she doesn’t allow her kids to go for sleepovers.

 

While the decision is hers personally and no one can judge another over their parenting strategies, this mother claims that the time has come to stand up to her haters and trolls becasue she feels it’s none of their business, at the end of it all. 

Yet, the mother chose to defend herself on an online platform because she felt she needed to. 

“I don’t like to see my kids in dangerous situations. And by allowing them to go for sleepovers, I feel that I would be putting their lives at risk”- the mom continued. 

The mom who goes by the name Alissa spoke about the matter on her TikTok handle where she says she has every right to stick ot her decision and so does any other parent. 

In addition to that, she felt that something happening to her kids when she was not with them would be one of her life’s biggest regrets ever. And to prevent putting herself and others in that situation, she’s making sure she takes all the right decisions.

Alissa says that she finds all sorts of reactions from other parents when they find out about her major family rule being no sleepovers ever. 

The mother says it’s sad to see how personally some people take it when it has nothing to do with them specifically, Moreover, she continued by saying that her no sleepover rule is just a general thing she follows and it has nothing to do with others trying to harm her kids. 

“We have the same rules for all the families that we meet and I hope people would respect my choices in life instead of mocking me all the time”- she added.
