A famous actress from Spy Kids, Alexa PenaVega is opening up about her decision to quit the Hollywood industry.

The celeb revealed how it was God who pulled her out of the showbiz industry and for that, she couldn’t be more grateful.

The 33-year-old shared how it was the year 2017 when she realized that she was ready to switch her glamorous Hollywood lifestyle so that she could be a better addition to the community that shared her faith.

Hence, the actress was seen speaking to Fox recently about how she used to feel so trapped in the world of entertainment, adding how it was just not for her.

“The job had literally become my identity and I didn’t like it”- she says.

For her, it was like being forced to do something that you just don’t seem to be a fan of, and as a child star, she knew that she had the time and the potential to take a bold decision and get out before it was too late.

After quitting, the celeb reportedly fell head over heels with the Maui culture, moments after she made the move to quit Hollywood. She continued to take part in a series of auditions but realized that this was not for her.

“Living in Los Angeles was definitely not the place for me. I felt jaded and people over there just seem to be living. It was like God had pulled me out of that location because he knew I had more potential. The potential to be such a great mother and a fabulous wife.

Speaking about her partner, the former child star says she met him during a bible study group session in the year 2012. And then two years later, they tied the knot and since then, the couple has welcomed three beautiful children into their household.
