Singing icon Cher’s son is making some shocking statements about his mother and what sort of an upbringing he has had to deal with during his childhood.
The troubled artist went on to speak about how tragic he felt about being shunned, adding how he was always the black sheep of the family.
The shocking news has come at a time when the leading singer has opted to file for conservatorship of her son. She claims that he’s having trouble in his life and has even gone as far as to mention that his substance abuse is a serious problem that must be dealt with.
“I do know what’s best for my child”- she confirmed and that left many wondering who is right and who is wrong in this very personal legal battle.
Speaking to People magazine recently, Cher denied all of the claims that came in her direction by her son.
She referred to those allegations including the ones having to do with kidnapping him as very false and zero truth. She further went on to justify how her son needed her help before it was too late and she was therefore going to do everything in her power to make things right with him.
According to recent documents filed in the court of law, Cher says she wants to be the sole conservator of her son due to his problems with substance abuse.
She also claimed in her legal statements how her child is struggling financially too in terms of managing financial resources.
While Elijah is said to be entitled to a trust fund, he does need a conservator beforehand so he can get access to the funds as soon as possible.
The court also declared his wife to be unfit to be in that position because of the pair’s tumultuous relationship.
