Adele reportedly made her new husband Rich Paul sign a prenup to protect her $220 million wealth.
The Someone Like You hitmaker, 35, married the sports agent, 41, in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles, a source claimed back in November, Deux Moi claimed.
The secret wedding allegedly came shortly after Adele was heard referring to her partner as ‘husband’ repeatedly.
Now, RadarOnline reported that Adele made her new husband sign a strong prenuptial agreement after she was urged to do so by her friends.
Since her career boomed, Adele has amassed a great fortune and is now believed to be worth around $220 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Besides the income from digital sales and the sales of her four albums, the singer’s fortune also includes her Las Vegas residency salary and several residences including a $11 estate in England, two townhouses in London, two $10 million homes in Beverly Hills, and Sylvester Stallone’s former mansion which she bought for $58 million back in 2021.point 409 | 1
Back in November this year, Adele allegedly confirmed her marriage to Paul in a “super cute” announcement made at her friend Alan Carr’s Los Angeles comedy show.
According to DailyMail.com, multiple onlookers recalled the singer saying she got married.
“When he [Alan] asked if anyone got married recently she yelled ‘I did.’ Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended,” one insider claimed.
“Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks. She didn’t care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him – they’re best friends.”
Another source said: “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did.’”
