Adele has turned into a major meme after arriving at the Super Bowl yesterday and posting an image that explained the reasoning behind her attendance.
The singer stated that she was there at the event only for the sake of Rihanna and no one else.
Adele looked every bit like the Queen as she donned a pair of shades and sat down on her sofa like absolute royalty. The cameras caught the moment and now, it has turned into a viral meme as she posted through her social media account that she was only here for Rihanna.
And as you can imagine, arriving at the country’s biggest sporting event and saying something of that sort did not go down well with plenty of gaming enthusiasts.
Fans of Adele made it a point to step right in and speak about how the singer was born and raised in London and since the UK has no concept of the NFL as it’s an American sporting event, then she’s not to blame.
But the justification provided was bashed, with others who felt she was not a noob and should have enough sense not to play with others’ sentiments. After all, she had a fan following worth millions across the US.
The manner in which her caption was put forward was definitely a little startling if we must say so ourselves.
The singer wrote, ‘I’m only going there for Rihanna. I don’t give a flying f*ck about anyone else!”- she added.
This is clearly not the first time that Rihanna has been praised by Adele in public. The singer has made it a point several times to mention how much she adores the Fenty owner and musician.
She also spoke about how well Rihanna has done in the music industry, carving a separate lane of her own.
