Ben Affleck is getting mistaken for Matt Damon in a new television commercial.

According to reports from local media outlets, the new advertisement is blowing people’s minds for obvious reasons. And the fact that it features two big names from the Hollywood industry that are close pals too is just a lot to comprehend.

After a very splashy Super Bowl, Sunday ad for Dunkin, actor Ben Affleck is back with a bang. But this time around, he’s being mistaken for another leading actor. And it’s none other than his good friend and fellow Hollywood actor Matt Damon.

Fans and followers got a double treat in the form of an ad where Affleck is seen being mistaken for Matt Damon. And that’s not something you hear or see quite often.

In the commercial, Jennifer Lopez’s husband is witnessed promoting the company’s $1 Run deal. This comprises a donut on the purchase of any hot coffee beverage.

But in the video, he’s mistaken for his long-term friend Matt Damon and he’s not loving that feeling, as if anyone else would. Baffled at the way people react, it’s a hilarious twist on the matter and one that’s sure to delight fans.

The ad has the actor playing a very unique role. He says that he’s here for the new commercial where he is supposed to be promoting the campaign for the donut deal. But to his surprise, the employees at the counter of the famed international donut chain look confused.

They were just not able to identify who he was. And that left Affleck in an embarrassing situation. So that’s when the restaurant’s employee assumes he’s Damon and drops down the name of Damon’s movie so her colleague can relate.

Affleck looks even more confused when she says, ‘The Departed’ and he raises his eyebrows, feeling insulted at the wrong case of identity.

The barista asks again, ‘Are you in the Departed?’ and Afflect is seen shaking his head. Clearly, it’s a hilarious one and we’re sure Matt Damon would have had a good laugh at it too.
