Kate Middleton was seen apologizing to the Irish Guards as she confirmed how she would not be able to attend the pre-Trooping the Color rehearsal that’s all set to take place soon.
The Princess of Wales has opted to sit this one out, as confirmed by the Royal Palace recently.
The fact that she’s always present for such events in full force had people sad as they knew that they would not be seeing her smiling face which has become a tradition over the years.
Kate is said to be undergoing a period of preventative chemotherapy and that means she is staying away from the public eye as much as she can.
“I wished to let you all know how proud i am for the entire Regiment ahead of the grand Coloniel’s Review and Trooping of the Color”- she explained. The heartfelt letter was shared on the X app to the Irish Guards and many appreciated the special effort made by the future Queen.
For those who might not be aware, the British event called Trooping of the Color is designed to celebrate King Charles’ birthday.
It is an honorable occasion where all senior members of the royal family are said to be in attendance.
