Former child superstar Benji Gregory has reportedly passed away at the age of 46.
According to reports from local media outlets, Gregory who played the role of Brian Tanner on the iconic 80s sitcom that started in 1986 and lasted until 2000 was found dead.
He was located inside his vehicle with his service dog by his side that was named Hans.
The exact location was identified to be the Chase Bank parking lot in Peoria, Arizona on June 13.
Gregory’s sister confirmed the news and spoke about how the iconic star was a huge name in the industry that acclaimed fame at such a young age.
He suffered from depression and bipolar disorder and even had the worst sleep disorder that used to keep him awake all night long.
The exact cause of his death is yet to be revealed as investigations are taking place at this moment in time.
However, sources that are close to the star mentioned how they believe he passed away from a heat stroke that arose after he fell asleep inside his vehicle.
“It’s suspected that he passed away from vehicular heatstroke. The entire situation is just so hard on the family at this time”- another close source mentioned.
The family has respected privacy during this immensely difficult time of grief.
