Amber Heard’s reputation is ruined and her career is hanging by a thread, entertainment expert revealed.
Taking the stand on Monday as the Depp-Heard trial resumed, entertainment consultant and expert Kathryn Arnold insisted that Heard’s appearance in Aquaman was supposed to be her big break.
As a result of shocking allegations stemming from her doomed relationship with Depp, however, she was allegedly almost kicked from the movie’s sequel.
According to the former Hollywood producer, Heard was only able to keep her role because director James Wan and co-star Jason Momoa were “adamant she was in the film.”
Though the movie’s producer eventually decided they would keep Heard in the second movie, her screen time was “radically reduced.”
Arnold went on to claim that the actress’s reputation has been stained in the entertainment world and that it currently “doesn’t make sense” for people to hire Heard.
“They like her work but they can’t work with her because every time her name is mentioned the negativity flares up again,” the consultant added.
Arnold also testified that Heard must have lost between $45 million and $50 million due to failed projects after Depp’s legal team branded her allegations as fake.
The former producer also testified that Depp was responsible for damaging his own career between 2018 to 2020 – in the two years following Heard’s shocking op-ed for The Washington Post – by bringing up lawsuits and stirring “negative publicity around both of them.”
“Filing lawsuits, bringing to light the issues is Mr. Depp doing that of his own accord,” she said.
“Any statements by his team are associated with Mr. Depp. He’s causing his own demise by bringing these lawsuits forward and continuing to ignite the fire of negative publicity around both of them.”
