Meghan Markle’s first episode for her latest podcast series is out and there’s plenty of talk about double standards and ambitious women.

But new reports are speaking about how the very strong-headed duchess only felt a double standard when she started to date Prince Harry and not before that.

Meghan’s wedding and the love story were definitely not like she or others had envisioned. Moreover, it wouldn’t be wrong to mention that it just was not fun and games too.

It took her no time at all to notice that when she first started to date her prince charming and she mentioned all of this revelation during her latest podcast episode with Serena Williams.

“I don’t even remember personally feeling any form of negative connotation behind this term ambitious. I only came to that realization when I started to date him”- she confirmed.

Meghan was also seen speaking about how the thought of having an ambition is looked down upon as something that’s so terrible for a female. And ever since she realized that it’s really been hard for her to process all of this. “I just can’t unfeel it now”- she started to explain.

The Duchess added how it’s so sad for her to see so many females make themselves smaller on a routine basis because of this.

Leading tennis superstar Serena Williams was seen agreeing to what the famous actress from Suits had to say. This includes how Williams was forced to face the same type of double standards when she was an athlete.

“My ball was always called out of bounds, but the truth is that it was always within the lines”- she confirmed and that often led to the star’s arguments with the referee.

Serena Williams claims that it was what earned her the title of being aggressive and she was not okay with that.
