A man is revealing how grateful he is to Apple for literally saving his wife’s life during a car crash.
According to reports from local media outlets, the man revealed how his wife’s iPhone crash detection system was able to locate her faster than the paramedics.
And he feels that all the adverts and marketing put out by Apple Watch on this front are actually true and deserve a special mention so other people may benefit if they’re ever stuck in a similar situation.
He added how the Apple Watch or other similar features found on iOS smart devices are really life-saving and they’re you’re best friend in times of emergency and can really end up saving lives.
Since the incident, he is being very vocal about it on social media and has even made the choice to go on Reddit and speak more about it in detail.
His wife had tragically been involved in a car crash and during dire times like these, time is of the essence. And now that his case has gone viral, more and more people are flooding social media to applaud Apple for its genius invention.
The man goes on to explain how his wife had been on her way back from the store when the horrifying accident struck. They were both on the phone that time when all of a sudden, he heard a loud scream from her end.
And moments after that, the line just went dead. But within a timespan of a few seconds, he did manage to get an alert through her iPhone that she was in a crash. And that particular crash detection feature sent out a notification in the form of an alert to the husband, outlining her particular location.
“I rushed over there. And I managed to arrive before the ambulance arrived. I’m so grateful for Apple!”- he concluded.
