Arnold Schwarzenegger has welcomed a new family member and he couldn’t be any happier from the looks of it.
The 75-year-old Hollywood actor and former governor of California on Friday revealed that his “family is growing” as he shared a photo of its newest member – Schnelly the pig.
In one of the photos, Schnelly is seen sitting in the former politician’s lap next to one of his four dogs while Arnie is smiling from ear to ear.
Besides his dogs and the pig, the Terminator star and his 48-year-old girlfriend Heather Milligan also share their home with a miniature pony and a donkey.
“The word ‘schnell’ means fast in German,” the former bodybuilder explained in his interview with FOX 11.
“Because when we brought her home, he ran out of the house and ran all over the property. We couldn’t catch him.”
Arnie continued: “Now he doesn’t run away anymore. He is fantastic.”
In his candid interview, the actor also explained that taking care of so many animals is an activity that he very much enjoys and that he doesn’t see it as a chore despite the amount of time it consumes.
“It’s so much fun to feed the animals in the morning — all the different dynamics and all the stuff — and to have that and to travel around the world [with them],” he added.
Schnelly the pig has joined the ranks of Lulu the donkey and Whiskey the miniature pony. The growing family also includes four dogs named Cherry, Noodle, Schnitzel, and Dutch.
