JUST IN: Men Are Being Asked By Hospitals If They Are PREGNANT Before Undergoing Scans Or Cancer Treatment


The world is certainly getting weirder by the second as hospitals are now questioning men if they’re pregnant, right before they undergo medical treatment.

According to a recent report, hospitals are making sure they confirm every male patient’s history, right before they undergo scans, x-rays, or any form of treatment for cancer.

In case you’re wondering why, well, things are no longer restricted to women as the world of health seems to be replacing words like a female with terms that include individuals for all kinds of medical procedures.

In Liverpool, the NHS Trust says that patients that belong to the age 60 and above age bracket, regardless of their gender, would be questioned about their pregnancy to be extra sure.

This is being looked upon by many as the right way forward as many other critics feel this is similar to taking things to a new extreme.

After being incorporated into the NHS policy, so many medical experts shed light on how important it was to realize the severity of the situation because one question could potentially save another person’s life.

For those who may not be aware, there are plenty of dangers associated with radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic imaging. Therefore, medics need to find out whether or not a certain patient is pregnant or not, to ensure the safety of carrying out different procedures.

In the year 2017, it was revealed how new regulations surrounding checks were now being updated by the country’s department of health. This was a way to be more inclusive toward all genders.

And that’s when the decision finally came about to change the question as a whole.
