Amber Heard’s attorney has reportedly confirmed how the actress will most definitely appeal the decision that was given by the jury yesterday.
According to local media reports, the actress is in no mood of playing games and will definitely give it her best shot with an appeal in the mega-million dollar defamation case that had the world glued to their television screens.
Elaine Charlson Bredehoft was seen mentioning how her client is devastated beyond words can describe because wasn’t the verdict that she saw coming.
Now, she’s going to appeal against the verdict because her lawyer strongly believes that she’s got some strong grounds.
“My client’s battle with the actor is not just over yet”- the attorney was seen mentioning in a bold tone as Amber Heard appeared emotionally and shattered after the verdict came out.
While entering the courtroom, you could see her in the happiest of spirits. But now, it appears she’s lost that thought, mentioned some fans who have been watching and following the high profile case for more than six weeks.
The attorney says she’s more than confident about the results of this case after an appeal is lodged, explaining how the case was not supposed to end like this.
“There is just so much of the evidence that failed to come in. It was just not given time and respect like other evidence. And that’s why we’re launching an appeal”- the lawyer continued.
“We were even trying our hardest to go to the United Kingdom and have the case dismissed but that did not work”-she continued.
While critics believe the appeal holds little to no value considering the fact that the jury’s decision was unanimous. But again, it never hurts to try or give it another go. What do you think?
