One Olympic star put her career on the line for a little fun time with her boyfriend and now, she’s facing the consequences of doing so.
Think along the lines of a leading swimmer from Brazil who just got banished from the Paris Olympics because she failed to follow the rules set out since day one.
The swimmer who goes by the name Ana Carolina Vieira hit the town without any form of authorization from authorities. She chose to have her rendevous moment by sneaking out of the village to sample what it’s like to enjoy the Paris nightlife.
Sadly, she’s now axed from the competitions as her example is set to serve as a lesson for others who dare to do the same.
Her boyfriend happens to be fellow swimmer Gabriel Santos. The duo made their way out around town after Vieira’s team crashed out of the competition which was the 4×100 m freestyle relay.
The 22-year-old met up with Santos on July 26 without any permission from her coach or team members. As per reports from Brazilian media, she was pulled out for indiscretion by the Olympic Committee and therefore ended up abusing them.
This left them with no choice but to quickly kick her out of the country and put her on a flight back to her hometown in Brazil.
